The dream started almost 11 years ago when we opened the first Burning Leaf cigars store. We now have a total of three locations in Illinois. In all of which you will find the latest and the best lines of cigars on the market. We carry large selections of different premium cigars as well as a full line of tobacco and cigar accessories.

If I have to define Burning Leaf Cigars in one word it would be “Welcoming”. The Burning leaf Cigars Experience is about building relationships and that doesn’t just mean between myself and the customers. The customers themselves are provided this unique environment to sit back, relax and enjoy a common thread with many different people. I’ve seen many friendships, and business relationships, come from taking the time to sit back and enjoy a fine cigar with someone else who appreciates the good things in life.

There’s more to the Burning Leaf Cigars experience than just coming in, buying a cigar and leaving. We don’t just let the customer pick out a cigar and bring it back to the register. We offer customer well informed suggestion and discuss their particular taste. In order to learn and understand their palette. We’re all different individuals and taste is subjective. Just like in food and clothes, we all have different tastes. The difference here is we care about the particular taste and we work with the customer to match them up with the cigar that will give them the best experience, regardless of price.

We strive to know every customer personally, to learn more about them and their preferences so over time we are able to custom design a menu for them that will best suit them as individuals. It’s about more than just a business relationship, it’s about friendships and that’s been the most rewarding part of all this for us. It’s been very special.

Cigar smoking is a luxury, a luxury that most people can afford. You don’t have to buy a $40 cigar to enjoy the experience; there are three and four dollar cigars that a real treat.  I make sure that every cigar we carry is the best value for the money. So you may select any three dollar cigar, but it will be the best three dollar cigar you’ll find on the market. We sample these cigars to make sure we’re putting the best value in the customer’s hand. Working to make fine cigar smoking accessible to all walks of life is an important part of what we do.
